1. The break will be good... SM3 was a bit weak, so the success of the other Marvel movies will help with anticipation to a new Spidey flic. I just wish that they would be able to do a cross-over reference (like in Hulk and Ironman). Not sure if they can/will since Columbia owns the rights to Spidey in the movies v. the new Marvel Studios.

2. I think its a good idea that audiences have to wait awhile for the next Spider-Man to come out because studios can be impatient and want the next movie to be created immeadiately because the latest one was successful, like a production line. ThIs would force the cast and crew of the film to start shooting without a completed script. This could most likely cause a film to suffer a little bit, like Pirates 3 for example. With three years, Sam Raimi and his crew would be able to complete a full script and do a great job without worrying about a hectic deadline. I love the Lizard and I hope Black Cat is in the series somewhere, but I hope Raimi doesn't get overambitious and creates a repeat of Spider-Man 3 {no offense to fans of that particular movie or Pirates 3 either}

3. 3 Years is WAY too long to take to make a movie. After all, look how audiences completely forgot about each of the Star Wars sequels!

4. Oh come on, Mike. You saw how Spider-Man 3 turned out and that movie was rushed. We waited 3 years for another Batman movie to come out so why can't we wait 3 years for another Spider-Man? Hopefully in the time between now and the time they finally start shooting they'll have come up with something that's not half as uncomfortable to watch as Spider-Man 3 was.
